However, there are certain conditions and imaging that the open MRI cannot do that only the closed MRI can.

It’s going to cost them 600,000 dollars but what it cost in dollars and sense, it will more than pay itself back for in the knowledge that students will acquire.

The purpose of the simulated hospital is to give the students the feel and setting of a hospital without having them set foot in a hospital. This simulated situation will allow students to gain a better working knowledge of the radiology departments as well as the proper procedures for the operating room.

The goal as it’s always been stated is to give students the real experience of working in a hospital setting without making them have to deal with the pressure. This is a controlled environment where they can take their time to make mistakes and not worry about it costing someone their life or pose any sort of risk for the hospital.

This is becoming a trend in the world of hospital technology. Students are looking to be in a safe environment where they can learn how to do the things they need to do and these simulated hospitals are perfect. However, this doesn’t excuse the student from their responsibilities within the hospital. Students will be expected to be part of regular rotations and work their shifts at the hospital.
